United States Army Veteran, Nicholas Francis Scheero was born on September 8, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died in Pennsylvania on June 29, 1993.

Nicholas was the cherished son of Hungarian immigrants, Eberhart and Catherine Phillippi-Scheero who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his dear brother Private Philip J. Scheero who was killed in action in World War II.

As did his brother Philip, Nicholas also served in the military during World War II in the United States Army from December 21, 1942 to November 30, 1945. When he left service, he as a Private First Class.

Nicholas was survived by his loving sibings Victoria Gertrude Scheero-Hennessey-
Brancu, Catherine Scherro-Moultrie, Margaret Scheero-Smith, Teresa E. Scherro-Dukel, Veronica T. Scherro-Wade, Clara Scheero-Park and Josephine Teresa Scheero-Murphy and dear niece Jeannine Hennessey.

Please Note: On November 4, 2015, it was determined by Find A Grave Member John Albright that Nicholas Francis Scheero is buried in the same grave along with his father Eberhart, his mother Catherine and his brother Philip Scheero, although his name has never been put on the headstone of the grave.

John obtained this information when he spoke with the Holy Cross Cemetery office in Yeadon, Pennsylvania when he was trying to fulfill a photograph request for Nicholas' grave.
