Adams, Marion Francis s/o M. F.
Francis, the 7 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. M. F. Adams died Saturday night from diphtheria contracted while in Spokane the week before. The burial took place on Sunday morning at daylight. Mr. Adams took his son to Spokane for an operation on his eyes for partial blindness which was quite successful and strong hopes were entertained for his complete recovery. A strict quarantine was established by the city officials as soon as the contagion became known, church and schools being closed for this week. Yesterday it was learned that the girl working for Mrs. Adams was down with the disease, but none of the rest of the family have taken it. (Citizen-8 March 1907)
