Betty J. Weidenhamer, 85, a resident of Columbia, Maryland, since 1980, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland.
Mrs. Weidenhamer was born September 26, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio. Her parents, Edward and Edith Coppes, are deceased. Betty married Dr. Gerald H. Weidenhamer in 1958. At the time of her retirement in 1997, she was a management assistant in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Her husband, Gerald, of Columbia, and son, Joseph, survive Mrs. Weidenhamer.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. A private burial will be held at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
