George "Jim" Adams Jr. passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Colfax Cemetery in Colfax. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Jim was born March 21, 1943, in Fort Worth. He was a graduate of TCU and loved Horned Frog football. Throughout his life, he spent many summers in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Faith Ann Adams; daughters, Amanda Hunt and husband, Michael, Karen Gay and husband, Selwyn, and Robin Evans and husband, Guy; grandchildren, Harlow and Harrison Hunt, Helena Gay and Shelby Evans; sisters, BarBara Matthews and Joan Hartley; and brother, Bob Adams.
