Dianne Coates, 63, of New Hartford, Iowa passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Dianne Rosemary Coates was born on June 28, 1952 the daughter of Frank and Geraldine (Saul) Ackerson in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1970.
On February 14, 1975 she was united in marriage to Kenneth "Hardrock" Coates at the Methodist Church in New Hartford.
Dianne was employed at College Square HyVee in Cedar Falls since March of 1995.
She enjoyed fishing, gambling, playing bingo, dominos, going to concerts, but most especially spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Ethan Alfred Coates.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2015 at 10:30 am at the New Hartford United Methodist Church in New Hartford, Iowa with Pastor Jim Ackerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in New Hartford, Iowa.
