"Mrs. Tyranda Brinson, 80, of Drum, died Wednesday, February 12, at her home after a short illness.
The daughter of the late Silas and Nanny Ping, she was born in Pulaski County. She married Cleve Erp who preceded her in death. She later married James Milford Brinson in 1944. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the White Lily Baptist Church.
Survivors include the following stepchildren, Willie Brinson, Ruth; George and Charlie Brinson, both of Dabney; Mrs. Dora Sears, West Somerset; and Frankie Brinson, Cincinnati; and two half-brothers, Willie H. Vanhook, Drum, and Fred Vanhook, Somerset.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the White Lily Baptist Church with the Rev. John Simpson, the Rev. Edmond Vanhook, and the Rev. Milford Hargis officiating. Burial was in the White Lily Cemetery.
Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements."

" Tandy S Ping, dau of Silam M Ping and Nancy Jane Ping Ping. She married first to Andrew Erp. She married second to Mr. Brinson. Her step-father was Robert Newton Vanhook. She was born 25 Oct 1883 in Pulaski Co, KY and died 12 Feb 1964 in Pulaski Co, KY. Per her death certificate she is buried in the White Lily Cemetery, Pulaski, KY. She shares the same headstone as her first husband, Andrew Erp."
