Actor. He was most famous for the roles of 'Al Delvecchio', the owner of Arnold's Drive-In on the late 1970s television series "Happy Days" and of 'Murray the Cop' on the early 1970s series "The Odd Couple". His family was well known in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area, but by the early 1950s, he moved to California and worked in various jobs before getting his start in television. His first role was of a shop owner in the series "The Name of the Game" in 1969. Molinaro acted in various other series before getting the role of 'Officer Murray Greshler' on "The Odd Couple" in 1970 and staying with the series until 1975. After a few years he received the role of 'Al Delvecchio' on "Happy Days" and played the role until the show ended (he also played the character on the spin-off "Joanie Loves Chachi"). Molinaro did work on commercials for various products while also appearing on different television series during the 1980s and early 1990s. After retiring from television in 1994, he made several guest appearances and still made commercials until his passing.
