Lela H. Moore, 91 of Charleston passed away at Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness. She was a housewife and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Preceding Lela in death were her parents John W. and Pliney Cavender Walker; husband Thomas O. Moore; brothers, Breman, Raybert, Basil, Lanny, and Leonard; sisters, Tressa, Mamie, Gladys, Cleo, Lorena, and Violet. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Moore and his wife Cindy of Charleston and Thomas R. Moore and wife Linda of Cynthiana, Kentucky; sister, Catherine High of Charleston; grandchildren, Thomas and wife Lisa, Kelli and husband Ken, Mary and husband Joel, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Nathaniel, Arlene and Grace, Ruth and Ellee. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday November 27, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas R. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services on Tuesday.
