The funeral of Elias Hoover was held Sunday at the Church of the Brethren. Rev. B. A. Hartley, of Advance, delivered the sermon and Elder L. W. Teetor assisted with the services. The Bowman quartet furnished the music. The following were pallbearers: D. A. Altmyer, David Harter, Lew Gohring, (the above brothers-in-law and the following nephews,) Wayne Allen, Ottis Allen and Orville Hoover. Among those attending the funeral were Carl Gohring, of Toledo, O.; Mrs. M. F. Maier, of Covington, Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Altmeyer, of Miamisburg, Ohio; Mrs. Margaret Simons, of Indianapolis, Lew Gohring, of Rushville, Mr. and Mrs. David Harter and son Eugene of Cambridge City. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Keener, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Millikan, of New Castle; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Crump, of Greens Fork; Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nicholson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Allen and children, of Millville; Mrs. Mark Allen, of Columbus, Ohio and Ottis Allen, of Lafayette.
