Horace Hoover, 85, Hagerstown Dies, Rites Tuesday
Horace Hoover, 85, of Hagerstown, died late this morning at his home, 98 Main St. He had been a banking executive for many years and was an active member of the Brick Church near Hagerstown. He was once president of the Brick Church Cemetery Association.
Survivors include a brother, Frank Hoover, who is a member of the Henry County Council; two grandsons: Reid Allen of near Cambridge City and Ross Allen of Schenectady, NY; and one great-grandson, Mark Allen, of near Cambridge City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brick Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Howard and Son Funeral Home in Cambridge City until Monday morning when the body will be returned to the Hagerstown residence.
