Married 1866: At the First Baptist Church, Feb. 16th, by Rev. Dr. Balwin, Mr. George A. Waters and Miss Emma J., eldest daughter of James R. Fonda, Esq.

In the 1880 census, Emma Waters, 35, is living in Lansingburgh at 57 State St., with her husband, George A., 36, and their son, Charles V., 13.

In Lansingburgh: The funeral of the late Mrs. George A. Waters, of Second avenue, was held at her residence and was attended by a large number of mourning friends. Quite a number of floral tokens were received.
