The 22 November 1631 baptismal (not birth) date of William Carpenter (1631–1703)—first presented in my 1995 Carpenter article in the _American Genealogist_ (TAG) and since in my (now corrected) William3 Carpenter sketch, online at carpentercousins.com/Wm3_Rehoboth.pdf—is incorrect. I recently reviewed my photocopy of the original record and discovered that I had previously misread the day and month: the correct baptismal date is 25 December 1631.
