Robert F. Fox, 74, passed away at Akron City Hospital on Feb. 27, 1998.
He was born in Pottstown, Pa., the son of Frank and Katy Fox. Mr. Fox was a retired sales representative for the tire industry, a veteran of World War II in the U. S. Navy, and a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church and the Masonic Order.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie; daughter, Shannon A. Fox; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Roe and Gina Fox of Akron, and Timothy D. Fox of Uniontown; sister, Helen Moyer; brother, Ernie Fox; grandchildren, Robbie, Brianna, Kayley Fox; several nieces and nephews; faithful companions, Katie and Spencer.
Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Farley Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. at Gilchrist Road, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association. (FARLEY, 784-3334.)
