Born in Shreveport to D.A and Hallie Coleman Horton and reared in Haughton, La. The oldest of 6 children and Mother of 6 children. She worked as a credit manager in several Jewelry stores and department stores including Dales Jewelers. Anne took an active interest in her children's and nephew and niece's sports. Attending many ball games and filled in as coach for practices on occasion. She was also very proud of all her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. An avid fisherwoman and loved fishing in her younger years. She also loved gaming and traveled around the country to many casinos with her husband of 60+ years.
