Bill was the oldest of six children born to Eli Larkin and Lessie (McMasters) Kivett. He married Grace Langley and they were the parents of two children: William Larkin and Cladie Marie.

William  Kivett Dies In Hospital
LIBERTY-William (Bill) 0. Kivett, 59,merchant and farmer of Route 2, Liberty, died last night in an Asheboro hospital.                     
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The body is at Laughlin Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Langley; one son, W. L. Kivett of Route 2; daughter, Mrs. Wayne Isley, Route 2; and three sisters, Mrs. A. B. Thomas, Mt. Airy;  Mrs. Wayne Stephens, Route 2, and Mrs. J. R. Turner, Route 1, Liberty.
