MINBURN, IA - Services for Charles M. Snyder, 70, father of Harry Snyder, chief Polk County deputy sheriff, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Church of Christ, here, with burial in Minburn cemetery.

Mr. Snyder, farmer in the Minburn and Perry vicinity, suffered a fatal heart attack while fishing along the Des Moines river in Des Moines Saturday evening.

Besides his son, he is survived by his wife; four brothers, John A. and Duard, both of Des Moines; V.H. Snyder of Altoona, and Henry of San Francisco, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs. Keith Miller, Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Joe Anderson of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.
