—Mrs. Jesse B. Anthony, wife of the well known Superintendent of the Masonic Home at Utica, died in that city last evening. Mrs. Anthony was a daughter of the late John M. Bogardus of Troy, and her maiden name was Catherine A. Bogardus. She was married to Mr. Anthony in 1859. Mrs. Anthony was educated at the Troy Female Seminary. She was fitted in every way to aid her husband in the important Masonic work he under took at the Home. Mrs. Anthony possessed good judgment and a kind heart and was sincere. Mrs. Anthony for a number of years was a member of the New Century Club. She was well educated. She is survived by her husband, two daughters—M. Alice, wife of William McKip Morris of Gloversville, N. J., and Jessie May, wife of Knowlton Mixer of Buffalo. The interment will be in Oakwood cemetery, Troy.
