Mathias Powel is not a son of Phillip Powell and Julia Ann Miller Powell. I am a direct descendant of Philip Powell and his wife Julia Ann Powell through his daughter Christina Powell Beatty. I have a copy of the "Memorial History of the Powell Family" published in 1880 by Rev. John Powell, a grandson of Philip Powell. Philip & Julia Ann had a son, John Philip Powell, the father of Rev. Powell in 1781. There is no son Mathias in the family history and there is no Mathias listed in the rule of heirs of Philip Powell from the records of 1821 at Mifflin County Pennsylvania of the estate of Philip Powell. Please remove Philip & Julia Ann Powell as his parents as it is false information.
