Phoebe Bragg is my gg grandmother. She was the daughter of Samuel Bragg and Orcelia Tayer. She married John Moreland on July 5,1872 in North Adams, Hillsdale County, Michigan. Children of Phoebe Bragg and John Moreland: Deforest Moreland, William LaGrande Moreland, Thurman Moreland, Arthur G. Moreland, Charles Moreland and Lula Orcelia Moreland.

John and Pheobe Moreland divorced in 1907. Phoebe married a second time. Her death record says William Bragg. A city directory said she was the widow of Warren Bragg.

The really odd thing about this was I found her strictly by accident. I was researching someone else in this cemetery and saw the name Phoebe Bragg (which was also her maiden name). Prior to that I had her date of death (from Bible records) and had been looking for Phoebe Moreland. If she had married someone with a different last name, I probably would not have found her.
