Bob was born February 26, 1930, in Pike County to the late Trimble and Ruby Coleman. He served 26 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maggie Coleman, one sister, Anne Marie Hamlin, and four brothers: Randal, Philip, Delbert, and Keith.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Diane Coleman (Mike Holt) of Mount Juliet, TN, and Pamela Zimmerman (Terry) of Smyrna, TN, and two grandsons, Jason Aultman of Charleston, SC, and 1LT Christopher Aultman, Fort Bragg, NC. He is also survived by three sisters: Betty Mason of Dearborn, MI, Mary Coleman of Smyrna, TN, Gail Lawson of Elkhorn City, KY.
A military funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
