Alva Boring Johnson, 81, of Smyrna passed away September 30, 2015. The Funeral Service was held in the Chapel at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Dawn L. Britt officiating. Interment was at the Marietta City Cemetery.

Survivors include her son Gene Johnson (Debbie) of Rydal; grandchildren Jeremiah Johnson of Cartersville, Jacob Johnson of Cartersville, Luke Johnson of Cartersville, Hannah Johnson of Cartersville; great grandchildren Hannah DeBoard and Caden Johnson; brother-in-law Marshall Patton of Smyrna.
