DUMAS — Billie June Burkett Brazell, 82, of Dumas died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Sunray Church of Christ with Jonathan Zerby, preacher, officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Mrs. Brazell was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Blue Jacket, Okla., to Levi Calloway “L.C.” and Lorene Burkett. She married Troy Leabert Brazell on Sept. 18, 1948, in Church of Christ in Sunray.

Survivors include six children, Troy Leabert Brazell Jr. of Yukon, Okla., Steve Brazell of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Trudy Cullon of Stinnett, Joe Brazell of Royse City, Tony Brazell of Dumas and Melinda Brazell of Wimberley; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Atkins of Decatur, Dessie Gibbs of Dandridge, Tenn., and Patsy Allen of Amarillo; and two brothers, L.C. Burkett Jr. and Don Burkett, both of Sunray.

The family suggests memorials be to Colorado Christian Services, 3959 E. Arapahoe Road, Suite 200, Centennial, CO 80122.
