Wilma Boolman age 77, 27 Sesame Street Portland passed away Monday at her residence. She was born in Portland August 14, 1938 the daughter of William and Edna (Derrickson) Gierhart. She had worked fro Standard Brush and Broom for thirty six years and FCC in Portland. She was a member of the Portland Moose Lodge.
Surviving are three sons Dennis Boolman of Portland, Michael Boolman of Bryant and Ty Boolman of Geneva, one daughter Penny Gaskill of Salamonia, two brothers Ernest Gierhart of Portland and Richard Gierhart of Muncie, three sisters Doris Duke of Portland and Jean Brickner of North Carolina, Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Hines presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior of services. Memorials can be made to Jay County Cancer Society or Jay County Heart Fund.
