Lester S. Thorn of Keyser, age 72, died Thursday April 29, 1976 at West Virginia University Medical Center in Morgantown. He was a retired road construction employee and held membership in the Keyser Church of the Brethren.
A son of Jacob and Hannah Wratchford Thorn, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Patch Thorn. Also preceding him in death is one brother, George Thorn.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arzella Parsons, Oakland, Maryland and Mrs. Elnita Finley, Ellensboro; two sons, Paul Thorn, Keyser, and Clyde Thorn, Mt. Rainier Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Vance and Mrs. Elizabeth Mauzy, both of Petersburg; five brothers, John E. Thorn, Burlington, J. Van Thorn, Maysville, Harvey B Thorn, Gettysburg, Pa. Earl Thorn and Glenn Thorn, Petersburg.
Services ere held Sunday afternoon at the Brake Church of the Brethern by the Rev. John Litten and the Rev. Raymond Helmick. Interment followed in the Brake Cemetery.
