"CMSgt (UASF Ret) James Harold ADERHOLD August 12, 1930- September 24, 2015 Columbus, GA- CMSgt (USAF Ret) James Harold ADERHOLD, 85, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice. A private Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Gene Chesnutt officiating. Chief ADERHOLD, son of the late William Robert ADERHOLD, Sr and late Jettie COLLINS, was born in Phenix City, AL on August 12, 1930. He was a graduate of Central High School. Chief ADERHOLD was the youngest of five brothers and sisters. He was an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor in the United States Air Force. Chief ADERHOLD was involved in the Korean Conflict, Vietnam Era Conflict and the Himalayan Airlift. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Chief ADERHOLD was an avid bowler, was on the International Bowling Team and held the highest scratch average in Europe. Other than his parents, Chief ADERHOLD is preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Ann ADERHOLD JORGENSEN. Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Hella ADERHOLD of Columbus, GA; daughter Angela ANDERSON (Robert) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren Shaunna TEAGUE (Matthew), Paul JORGENSEN (Sandy), Matthew Anderson and Erica CHESNUTT (Josh); great grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlynn, Abigail, Elizabeth, Katherine, William and Alexandra.
