Called Robert. Born January 16, 1892, at Banning in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of John R. ADERHOLD, Mem. # 16468217 & C. Dorinda (NEWSOME) ADERHOLD, Mem. # 16468222 . In 1908, Robert was employed by the Eagle & Phenix Mills and residing with his parents in Phenix City. He married October 23, 1909, in Phenix City, Lee County, Alabama, to Jettie COLLINS, Mem. # 14081350 . Robert & Jettie appear, with Jettie's siblings, in a household at 781 Gale St. on the 1910 census of Phenix City; Robert was employed as a clothroom trimmer at a cotton mill. City directories show them at the same address 1910-1918, Gale St. being used interchangeably with "6th St." They are still at the same place, in Precinct 10, City Ward 1 of Phenix City, in 1920, when Robert was employed as a motorman on a street car line. Father of five children. Member of the Wilson William Lodge of Masons. Robert also worked as a machinist. Suffered a stroke of paralysis and was confined to a wheelchair for some years. Died July 9, 1950, at his residence on Wrights Road in Phenix City, following a brief illness. He was survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, two brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral plans were handled by Britton & Dobbs. Per Alabama Death Index: William R. ADERHOLD died July 7, 1950, in Russell County, Alabama, Certificate #14813 (Vol. 30, Roll 5).
