Mrs. Boulware was born in Union, SC November 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Robert Jenkins and Laura Pettit Jenkins. She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Cone Mill-Carlisle Finishing Plant. Mrs. Boulware was a member of Welcome Baptist Church where she served as Church Treasurer, a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class and was also a member of the choir. Mrs. Boulware was first married to the late Paul Lane and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Tommy Lane and wife Deborah, Eddie Lane and wife Teresa, all of Union, and Scott Lane of Clinton; three grandchildren, Tyler Lane, Andrea Lane and Justin Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Boulware was predeceased by sisters, Shirley Reynolds, Margaret Jenkins and Janie Sue Lawson and brothers, John Gary Jenkins, Doug Jenkins, Bob Jenkins and Willard Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Jarvis, Rev. Tony Pettit and Rev. Lee Franklin. Burial will be in the Hawkins Family Cemetery.
Active pallbearers Tyler Lane, Jon Robinson, Buddy Parris, Jimmy Reynolds, Ivey Boulware and Lance Davis. Members of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class are asked to sit in a group.
