Franklin Delano Cross of Dallas, Texas was surrounded by his family when he passed away September 19, 2015 at the age of 82. He was born January 31, 1933 to Ross Cross and Lenny Cross in Athens, Texas where he grew up and attended school. Franklin served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He married Marilyn Barrows June 30, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. Franklin was a court reporter for over thirty-eight years. He owned and operated Cross and Associates. He enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, and fishing. Franklin was a member of the Dallas Gun Club for over forty years.

He is survived by his daughters, Heidi Cross Gibson and husband Jerry Ray, Jr. of Bulverde, Texas and Kelly Cross McTague and husband Michael William of Crossroads, Texas and an estranged daughter and her family; grandchildren, Jerry Ray Gibson, III, Madeline Rose Gibson, Mikenzi McTague, Triston Michael McTague and a host of other loving family and friends.

Franklin was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Barrows Cross; son, Kenneth "Casey" Cross; parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

A memorial graveside service with Military Honors will be held 1:00 p.m., September 25, 2015, at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
