Services for Lizzie S. Jordan, 95, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Jordan, a retired employee of Bemis Mill (now Tennessee Textiles, Inc. ), died Monday evening at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of John T. Jordan. She was born in Madison County's Shiloh community, daughter of the late William W. and Josephine Poindexter Sowell. Mrs. Jordan was Pentecostal in belief. A daughter, Pauline S. Jordan, preceded her in death.
