Ralph had retired from Indiana Bell in 1986 where he was a switching equipment manager. He was a member of the Goldsmith United Methodist Church, Austin Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite - Valley of Indianapolis. He enjoyed wildlife, animals and fishing. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1943-46.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Bozell, Madison; three grandchildren, Matthew Bozell, Caleb Bozell and Morinda Leffew; step-grandchildren Erin & Michael Burleson; nephew Ronald Hawkins.
Ralph was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Bozell and Michael Bozell; brothers Oscar, John, Charles and Stanley; one sister, Waneta Horton; half brothers Otis Underwood and Bob Underwood; one half sister Mildred Underwood.
Funeral services for Ralph will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home starting with a Masonic service at 2:00. Burial will follow in Normanda Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
