Laconia-----Lois E. Corliss, 77, formerly of 19 Addison Street, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Genesis Eldercare Network Laconia Center. Mrs. Corliss was born December 15, 1927 in Bristol, NH, the daughter of Lucius and Edith (Andrews) Gordon.
She married Charles Corliss on June 5, 1949. Mrs. Corliss was a member of the Laconia Alliance Church. She dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include a son, Philip Corliss and his wife, Jan, of Colebrook, NH; a daughter, Joy Griffith, of Laconia; six grandchildren, Peter Schroeder, Laurie Griffith, Shauna Griffith, Donald Griffith, Kristian Corliss and Benjamin Corliss; two great grandchildren, Peter Schroeder and Logan Schroeder; one sister, Doris Seymour, of Sanbornton, NH and one brother, Kenneth Gordon, of Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Corliss, on October 9, 2003, by a brother, Francis Gordon, and by three sisters, Vera Blais, Mary Tardiff and Edna Dussault.
A Calling Hour will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 from 10-11:00AM at the Laconia Alliance Church, 115 Court Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 11:00AM also at the Church. Pastor Roy Ludwig, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
Spring Burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.
