Dorothy (Snyder) McKennan, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late James Allen McKennan; daughter of the late Dr. Edward B. Snyder and Dorothy West Snyder; sister of the late Edward B. Snyder Jr. and David West Snyder (Darin), of Bay Village, Ohio; and aunt of David Geise Snyder, of Bay Village, Ohio, and Daniel E. Snyder (Liz), of San Clemente, Calif. Dotty spent 54 years of her married life in Gibsonia. She was an active member of the Richland Garden Club. The past several years she lived at the Concordia of Cranberry in Mars. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, in Gibsonia Presbyterian Church, 4003 Gibsonia Road, Gibsonia. Memorial contributions in Dotty's name may be made to the church.
