KNOX -- Services for Gus Ambrose, 73, of Rt. 3, who died at 12:20 p.m. Thursday in Countryside Place Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Price & VanGilder Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Rev. Joseph Rodgers will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 27, 1909, in Chicago and moved to the Knox area in 1933 from Chicago. He was retired from Rockwell International Corp. On Feb. 15, 1936, in Knox, he married Lucille Morehouse. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Shedrow of Knox; three sons, James of Plymouth, Thomas of Knox, and Dan of Grovertown; and nine grandchildren.
