Frances Cotton Casey, a lifelong resident of Cecil, Arkansas, died Monday, September 14, 2015 at Mercy Villa in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born November 27, 1921 in Cecil, Arkansas to the late Wesley Robert Cotton and Ethel (Eubanks) Cotton. She was 93 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Casey; a son, Ronald Casey; and a daughter, Cheryl (Casey) Scyrkels.

Frances owned and operated Casey's General Store in Cecil, Arkansas from 1966 until she sold it in 1988. She then enjoyed traveling with the senior citizens tours and made other trips with her family. Not ready to retire, she went back to work at Cynthia's Gift Shop in Van Buren and later The Villager Dress Shop in Ozark. She became C.A.'s oldest employee at the The Village Pharmacy in Ozark working until she retired again at age 92. She was a devoted member of Oak Grove Community Church near Cecil.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21st, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Buddy Corbell and Rev. Joe Hobbs officiating.
Burial will be at Cecil Cemetery in Cecil, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her son, Mike Casey and wife Glenda of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Maxine Dunn of Ozark and Betty Lockhart of Van Buren; two granddaughters, Julie Halfmann and husband Bill of Pocola, Oklahoma and Marie Casey of Springfield; four grandsons, Brian Casey and wife Lorrie of Ratcliff, Wes Talkington of Cecil, and Kevin Casey and Ben Casey of Springfield; four great-granddaughters, Trista Casey of Marion, Piper Talkington of Rogers, and McKennah West and Kailee West of Ratcliff; four great-grandsons, Tory Casey and wife Rachel of Ozark, Sean Casey, Jeff Casey, and Nick Raby of Springfield; three great-great granddaughters, Rory, Brilea, and Mya Casey of Ozark.

Pallbearers will be Wes Talkington, Kevin Casey, Ben Casey, Tory Casey, Sean Casey, and Jeff Casey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thurman Kirby, Jr., C.A. Kuykendall, Wayne Martin, Jimmy Hignight, D.C. Holden, and Hugh Holden.
