"SS Llongwen, .....was a British steamer of 4683 tons.
On July 18th, 1916, Llongwen, on a voyage from Naples to Barry, was sunk by the German submarine U-39 (Walter Forstmann), 90 miles northeast of Algiers.
14 persons were lost. "
