Gordon Jones, 79, Clinton, Mo., died Oct. 19, 1994, at a hospital in Clinton. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. Jones was born in Sweet Springs, Mo., and lived in Warsaw, Mo., before moving to Clinton in 1945. He was an officer for the Clinton Police Department for 11 years before he retired. He was a member of the Tebo (Mo.) Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Jones, Clinton, and two brothers, Samuel Jones, Bates City, Mo., and Marvin Jones, Warsaw, Mo.
