DEATH OF MRS. PETER VOS

Died at her home August 21, after an illness of three weeks, Mrs. Peter Vos Jr. of Newkirk. Mrs. Vos was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Den Hartog and was nearly 28 years old at the time of her death. She married Peter Vos December 6, 1916. Mrs. Vos was a member of the Newkirk church from which place the funeral was held this Friday afternoon, the sermon being preached by Rev. D. R. Douwstra. Her husband, father, seven brothers and five sisters survive her. The brothers are Dick at Orange City; Herman at Rock Rapids; Dingman of Carmel; John, James and Edward of Alton; Walter of Hospers. The sisters are Mrs. Jake Solsma of Sheldon; Mrs. Henry Slotouber of Alton; Mrs. A. Huigens of Hospers.
