Carthage, Mo., April 8.-Funeral services for Mrs. Mariah Scrivoner, 82 years old, a resident of near Carthage for many years, who died Saturday night at her home at Brooklyn, southwest of Carthage. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Scrivoner's husband, John B. Scrivoner, died three years ago. Mrs. Scrivoner was born May 8, 1846. She had been a member of the United Brethren church since childhood. Surviving are a nephew, Frank Allard of Brooklyn, and three nieces. Mrs. H. S Morgan of Tye, Tex., Mrs. Alice Morton of Chicago and Miss Libbie Massey of Grantsville, Kansas.
