Agnes was was named after her late sister, Agnes, who was killed as an infant in the Armenian Genocide in 1912; she was also sister to Mary, Bert, and Harry, who was killed in WWII.

She was the loving wife of the late Alex Arpajian for over 50 years. She was a great cook, esp. of Armenian food, always welcomed company, and had a great sense of humor. She was the mother of Sandra (Ron) and the late Shirley; grandmother to Marlene, Matthew, Mariah, and Michelle, and the late Michael; great-grandmother to Alia, Logan, Samantha, Cory, and Sidney.
