Abbeville Chronicle Thursday, August 24, 1911: MRS. CLAUD THOMPSON. Mrs. Claud Thompson died at home four miles west of Abbeville last Sunday [Aug 20] after an illness of short duration. Interment was held at Stubbs Cemetery Monday afternoon. Deceased leaves a husband and two small girls, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Jennie Anderson and Claud L. Thomason married in Wilcox County on Dec. 27, 1906. She appeared as Martha J. Thomason in the 1910 Wilcox County, Georgia census with Claud and their two daughters.
After Jennie's death, Claud relocated to Franklin County, Georgia. Their daughter Dorothy Alline married Willie Dewey Purcell and Sanobie married William Henry Lewallen.
