Milton Heyse age 90 of Sorghum Road Shelton entered into rest in his home with his loving family by his side. He is the husband of 26 years to Nellie Brenia Heyse. He is predeceased by his first wife of 30 years Olga Tenay Heyse.
Mr. Heyse was born to the late Hugo and Katherine Heyse and has been a Shelton resident for over 54 years.
He was a self-employed builder for many years and retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after being employed as a Lead Maintenance Man for 10 years. Mr. Heyse was very active in the Huntington Congregational Church serving as a deacon and on various other committees. He was also a Scout leader for Troop #1 in Shelton. Mr. Heyse was an avid fisherman, artist and he was a riding instructor in his early life.
He is the father of Daniel Heyse of CO, Paul Heyse of FL, Eric Heyse and his wife Gail of Shelton, and Kate Cavallaro of Milford. Step- father of Janie Mezzatesta, and Lynn Schumacher both of Ansonia. Grandfather of Adrienne Drotos and her husband William, Eric Heyse, and Kelly Mezzatesta. He is predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service was held in the Huntington Congregational Church, the Rev. Lance Dallaire Pastor officiated.
