Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Summit Cemetery in Davenport. Visitation will be 10 to noon Tuesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.
Jim was an electronics engineer and held patents on several inventions. He spent much of his life in Colorado and had many friends there, but he has returned to Iowa to be reunited with his beloved wife, Joetta.
Jim lived a long and honorable life. A man of faith, he always treated others with respect, and was liked by anyone he met and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cora Susan (Ade) Ellsworth; wife, Joetta; sisters, Sandy, Betty and Lois; and survived by son, James; and brothers, Bill, Dick and Bob.
