Mrs. Deborah Lander Will Be Carried To Last Resting Place By Motor Coach
Mrs. Deborah Lander, 87, who died Monday evening at the home of her daughter here, will be carried to her grave in an automobile hearse. Hers will be the second automobile funeral in the history of the city, Her son-in-law George D Wright, having been borne to his final resting place in the same fashion last spring. Mrs. Lander's body will be committed to the earth at Brice's Prairie cemetery, where Mr. Wright was buried.
Mrs. Lander's death resulted from the infirmities incident to her advanced age, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. M. Swarthout, 1329 Caledonia street, at 8 o'clock Monday evening. Funeral services will be held from the Swarthout residence at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H.J. Benson of the Caledonia street Methodist church officiating.
Besides Mrs. Swarthout and Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Lander is survived by one son, Howard F Lander of Deadwood, S.D.
