Pekin, IL - Adalyn Alessi, 80, of 9674 E. Frieto Ave., Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Pekin, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at her home.
Born March 19, 1915, in Pekin to Brechter Frederick "Bert" and Clara Josephine Nau Memmen, she married Angelo L. Alessi on June 10, 1937, in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Claudia Link of Pekin, Trudi Dreyer of Woodstock and Andrea Kaumeheiwa of Maui, Hawaii; one son, John of Chicago; one sister, Marian Reichert of Pekin; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Joseph, preceded her in death.
She was a secretary at Tazewell County Farm Bureau for 12 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Cremation has been accorded.
