Death of John Gore
John Gore, an old and well known citizen of Lacon, dropped down from Heart Disease, in his house last night, and expired before medical aid could be summoned.He was unconscious and never spoke.
He came to Lacon many years ago, and for several years was Constable, Deputy Sheriff, and Detective, displaying considerable skill in ferreting out robberies.
He was well respected, and leaves a wife and family of grown up children, most of them married.
