Emma D Coats is the daughter of Solomon D Coats and Josephine Almira Norton Coats born 18 May 1884 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married George P Bouzille 18 Sept 1902, in Woodbury County, Iowa. They were first cousins as George's mother Mary Norton Bouzille and Emma's mother Josephine Norton Coats were sisters. They moved to Washington State shortly there after and homesteaded near Egypt and Miles Washington, north of Davenport on a quarter section adjacent to Emma's half sister Laura Coats Hollis and her husband William Hollis and their family. According to Emma's obituary they moved to the Centralia Chehalis area of Washington in 1937. George and Emma Bouzille appear in the 1940 census in Lewis County, Washington where their uncles Charles and William Norton lived. Following George's death in 1949 she married Arthur E Wood in Seattle, Washington 10 Aug 1952. Arthur Wood died Jul 1962.
George and Emma had one child Maurice Robert Bouzille, born 8 Aug 1903 in Sioux City, Iowa. Died 6 Aug 1986, in Santa Cruz, California.
