Victor was born 30 Dec 1874 in Sweden, and had resided 25 years in East Galesburg. He was a coal miner prior to retiring in 1935.
Surviving are three sons: John of East Galesburg, Victor of Galesburg, and Ellsworth of Chicago; a stepson, Lawson Morton of East Galesburg; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Pferschy and Mrs. Lillian Evans of East Galesburg; a brother, John, of Pittsburg, Kansas, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
