Verna Greenlee, 86 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away July 29, 2013 at her home. Born November 10, 1926 in Richland, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William Martin Brown and Ethel Haley Brown. Verna was a customer service representative for a retail clothing store for many years. She loved going to the lake with their 5th wheel camper and boat. She enjoyed traveling to Lake Tenkiller and Colorado. Verna loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Nancy Hammond; 1 grandson, Kevin Booth; and 1 great-grandchild, Macy McLaine. Survivors include her husband, Roy Greenlee; 2 daughters, Linda and her husband Randy Smith of Prattville, Alabama; Mary Booth and her significant other, Ron Fennell of Midwest City, Oklahoma; 2 step-sons, Richard Greenlee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and David and his wife Christie Greenlee of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren, Todd Roop; Shelley Dye; Kaylynn Hughes; Sharon Emerson; Kim Titus; Dough Pomplum; Kirk Booth; Kyle Booth; and Victoria Greenlee; 5 step-grandchildren, Melody Millon; Heather Greenlee; Hope Greenlee; Danny Greenlee; Charity Valles; many great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Neil Brown of Washington; and 1 brother-in-law, John Sharp of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141, with entombment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
