Possibly Alexander H Swan who was recorded twice in the 1910 census. Once in Travis county and again in Williamson county. He was recorded an agent for a medicine farm and a peddler of medicines in each. Born in 1831 in Scotland, widower. He arrived in the 1880's and was not naturalized but had "papers". Found by process of elimination of other Swans, rare surname in Austin at the time.
