Mrs. Marie Meyer, 62, of 928 Fourth Street, Kiel, widow of Henry J., died unexpectedly Monday at her home.
The former Marie Becher was born August 1, 1911 at Plymouth, a daughter of the late Louis and Augusta Dassow Becher. She attended Plymouth schools.
On September 28, 1935 she was married to Mr. Meyer in Plymouth. The couple lived there until 1964 when they moved to Millhome.
Mr. Meyer died in September, 1967, and she moved to Kiel.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Plymouth.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Monica) Horst of Millhome; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. John Gunderson, Freeport, Illinois, Miss Myra Becher, Milwaukee, Mrs. Ted Bookmeier and Mrs. Harold Aggen, both of New Holstein; and four brothers, Reinhold Becher of Sheboygan Falls, and Jack, Elroy and Lewis, all of Plymouth.
A sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, Reverend John Baumann, pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
